Economic Diplomacy
The Consulate General is responsible for maintaining the relationships that the Italian Government has with the Palestinian Authority. Such collaboration involves political relationships, dialogue with local authorities and civil society, economic relations and cultural cooperation, as well as development assistance.
The Commercial Office of the Consulate General oversees bilateral economic cooperation.
For the promotion of economic relations, the Commercial Office works in close collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in Amman, which is also responsible for the Palestinian Territories, and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) Point of contact in Ramallah.
