Declaration of Value

The “Declaration of Value” is a document that certifies the value of a qualification obtained in an educational system different from the Italian one. It is written in Italian and issued by the Italian Diplomatic Representatives abroad (Embassies / Consulates) “competent by area”, that is, to the closest city in which the institution issuing the foreign title is located.
If the country in which the certificate was issued signed the Hague Convention (October 5, 1961), the “Apostille” must be affixed to the title before requesting the Declaration of Value.

Declaration of value for proven reasons of study are issued free of charge, while reasons of work or any other require a small fee.
To obtain a declaration of value, the following is required:

  1. application form duly completed and signed by the interested person
  2. photocopy of a valid identity document (Identity card and passport)
  3. certified copy of the original title or of the legalized academic certificate and its translation in Italian
  4. Transcript of votes (Syllabus) legalized and translated in Italian

University Benefits for Israeli or Palestinian Students in Italy

Some Italian Universities have facilitation for Students who are already in Italy, such as reduction on cost of university fees, meal vouchers, rent contribution etc..

To benefit of these facilitations upon request of the University

1) Israeli Students must submit all documents requested by the Italian University, legalized and translated into Italian, according the instructions avalilable here

2) Palestinians Students must submit all documents requested by the Italian University, legalized and translated into Italian, according the instructions avalilable here

The legalization of documents will be free of charge only if the student presents the university ID card or booklet or, in case of new enrollement, the letter of acceptance from the Italian University.

 

Grants for foreign and Italian citizens living abroad awarded by the Italian Government

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants in favor of foreign citizens and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) for the Academic Year 2023-2024 in order to foster international cooperation in cultural, scientific and technological fields, to promote Italian language and culture and to support Italy’s economic system in the world (According to Law 288/55 and its subsequent changes and additions).

Scholarships are available to attend academic courses in Italy only.
