New rules for entry into Italy

Starting from March 1st, to enter Italy from any other country, it is necessary to present to the air carrier at the time of boarding:
-the digital Passenger Locator Form (PLF) in digital or paper form;
-a green Covid-19 certification (vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or negative molecular or antigen test) or other vaccination certification recognized as equivalent.

In case of non-presentation of one of the above certifications, the quarantine measure is applied for a period of 5 days with the obligation to undergo molecular or antigen tests at the end of the period.

Validity of the vaccine, recovery, test certification
From February 1st, 2022 the duration of the validity of the COVID-19 green certification changes.
The green COVID-19 vaccination certification lasts for 6 months from the date of the last dose, or indefinitely after the third booster shot.
The COVID-19 green certification after recovery is valid for 6 months after the recovery.
The green Covid-19 certification obtained following the negativity of an antigenic or molecular test (in compliance with the criteria established by the Ministry of Health) has a validity of:
48 hours from the execution of a rapid antigen test with negative result
72 hours from the execution of a molecular test with negative results
The COVID-19 green certification is valid after the administration of the first dose of the vaccine and is valid from the fifteenth day following the first dose until the date scheduled for the second dose
