The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> legalize only official translations legally approved by the country of residence. As per the Israeli Law Official translators must be Lawyers and Notaries, regularly recognised by Tribunals and Government Offices.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
\n

Translations issued by any other person could be accepted by the Consulate only for Civil Status Certificates (Birth, Marriage, Death).<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
\n

For the Italian community is available a List of unofficial translators known to this Consulate.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
\n

The Consulate General of Italy cannot be held responsible for acts or actions of the listed translators.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

As per the Palestinian Territories Law Official translators must be enrolled at the Registry of Translators held by the Ministry of Justice (for a list of official translators please refer directly to the Ministry of Justice Ph. 02-242 5040).<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
