{"id":781,"date":"2023-10-05T10:51:21","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T07:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consgerusalemme.esteri.it\/?page_id=781"},"modified":"2023-10-05T10:51:21","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T07:51:21","slug":"travellers-custom-charter","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/consgerusalemme.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/travellers-custom-charter\/","title":{"rendered":"Traveller\u2019s Custom Charter"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Traveller&#8217;s customs charter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Divided into two parts \u2013 travelling from\/to non-E.U. countries and travelling within the European Union \u2013 the Charter contains all the information needed for goods clearance, especially relating to products more frequently carried by travellers.<\/p>\n<p>To read or download the Traveller\u2019s customs charter and to have all useful informations about Custom please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adm.gov.it\/portale\/en\/carta-doganale-viaggiatore\"><strong>click here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EU non resident travellers may be granted VAT refund or relief for goods purchased in Italy, provided that:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the overall value of the purchased goods exceeds 154.94 \u20ac (VAT included);<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the goods are intended for personal or familiar use and are carried in the personal luggage;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022the purchase is certified by an invoice containing the description of goods, the personal data of the traveller as well as the details of his passport or of any equivalent document;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the goods leave the EU territory within three months, starting from the end of the month the product was purchased;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the goods and the relevant invoice are showed at the customs of exit from the EU territory for the ENDORSEMENT proving that the goods have effectively left the Community territory;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the invoice thus endorsed is returned to the Italian seller within four months as of the end of the month the goods were purchased<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>For VAT refund or relief the purchased goods must always be shown at the Customs Office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE: <\/strong><strong>The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem is not authorized to affix any stamp on invoices related to purchases made in Italy for the purpose of VAT reimbursement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Traveller&#8217;s customs charter Divided into two parts \u2013 travelling from\/to non-E.U. countries and travelling within the European Union \u2013 the Charter contains all the information needed for goods clearance, especially relating to products more frequently carried by travellers.
