{"id":188,"date":"2023-04-03T19:31:10","date_gmt":"2023-04-03T16:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consgerusalemme.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/"},"modified":"2024-07-19T16:02:53","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T13:02:53","slug":"traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/consgerusalemme.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation and legalization of documents"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Legalization makes documents originating in other countries valid in Italy.<br \/>\nTo be valid in Italy, acts and documents issued by foreign authorities must be legalized by Italian diplomatic-consular missions abroad.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Israeli documents<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The original documents issued by the Israeli Authorities must be legalized with an \u201capostille\u201d by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.<br \/>\nThe documents thus legalized must be translated into Italian by one of the translators included in the reference <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/consgerusalemme.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Lista-traduttori-14.12.2022.pdf\">translators list<\/a> <\/strong>of the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem. The translation shall be subsequently certified by the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli documents issued in English \u2013 or documents issued in language other than Hebrew or English (e.g. acts of civil status in French, Spanish, etc. \u2013 must be translated only from one of the notaries listed\u00a0in the translators list\u00a0from English or one of the other languages to the Italian language.<\/p>\n<p>After this procedure the Israeli document will be valid in Italy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Palestinian Documents<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The original documents issued by the Palestinian Authorities must be legalized by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ramallah and subsequently legalized by the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem.<br \/>\nThe documents, <strong>which can be accepted only if issued\u00a0in Arabic language<\/strong>,\u00a0must be also translated into Italian by one of the translators included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moj.pna.ps\/ar_tbl_trans.aspx\">list of translators available at the Ramallah Ministry of Justice<\/a>.
