GETTING SPID THROUGH THE CONSULATE

GETTING SPID THROUGH THE CONSULATE

From today for Italian citizens living in the Consular District of the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem, getting SPID is easier than ever.

The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem is as a matter of fact accredited as RAO ("Registration Authority Officer"), and is authorized to verify the personal identity of citizens who want to obtain SPID.

The procedure is simple and completely free of charge.

STEP 1 - Book your appointment

Book an appointment by sending an email with the subject "SPID request + name, surname and date of birth" to: consolare.gerusalemme@esteri.it, attaching this form.

STEP 2 - Go to the Consulate to verify your identity

On the day of your appointment, you will go to Consulate with the following documentation:

- The Form;

· A valid Italian identity document (identity card or passport);

· Your health card or, alternatively, your tax code card or a tax code attribution certificate, endorsed by the Consulate (for information on how to obtain it, click here).

STEP 3 - Get your SPID identity through an accredited manager

After verifying your identity at the Consulate, you will receive by e-mail a file (so-called "token") that you can use from home to request and obtain SPID for free through the “Sielte" or "Italian Post" provider.

N.B. In order to complete the verification process, you will also need to provide us with an email address and your mobile number.
