31/3/2017 Statement of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the announcement of a new settlement in the West Bank
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses serious concern over the announcements, from the Israeli Government, of the construction, for the first time after more than 20 years, of a new settlement in the West Bank, as well as of the expropriation of new lands in the West Bank.
These decisions are contrary to international law, stave off the resumption of negotiations between the parties and the prospect of two States for two Peoples.
