Translation of legal acts and documents

TRANSLATIONS FROM HEBREW INTO ITALIAN (AND VICEVERSA)

The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem legalize only official translations legally approved by the country of residence. As per the Israeli Law Official translators must be Lawyers and Notaries, regularly recognised by Tribunals and Government Offices.

Translations issued by any other person could be accepted by the Consulate only for Civil Status Certificates (Birth, Marriage, Death).

For the Italian community is available a List of unofficial translators known to this Consulate.

The Consulate General of Italy cannot be held responsible for acts or actions of the listed translators.

TRANSLATIONS FROM ARAB INTO ITALIAN (AND VICEVERSA)

The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem legalize only official translations legally approved by the country of residence. As per the Palestinian Territories Law Official translators must be enrolled at the Registry of Translators held by the Ministry of Justice (for a list of official translators please refer directly to the Ministry of Justice Ph. 02-242 5040).

Translations issued by any other person could be accepted by the Consulate only for Civil Status Certificates (Birth, Marriage, Death).
